Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! I hope ya'll are keepin' cool and enjoying this beautiful weather now that the heat stroke of 2011 has worn off (at least for a little bit - we still have August to get through).

Well, for me, July has been pretty uneventful. It's a bittersweet month for me because I will no longer be 'in my 20s' and that's kind of scary considering I still see myself as a scared, little freshman waiting for my first class in high school to begin.

But a freshman in high school I am not. Nope - I'm a soon-to-be 30 year old, married, and fortunate to have the greatest 3 kids in the world. While July has been pretty uneventful for me (I've literally only worked my day job for 9 days this month - though the days I didn't work I stayed home with my kiddos), it's been a pretty eventful month for my 10 year old son, Cameron.

Sex. What does it mean to you? I know when I first think of the word 'sex' I think of gender. Are you a boy or girl? I know that's not what everyone else thinks about whey they hear the word 'sex'.

If someone was going to suggest an erotic short story collection, what would you think of that person? Would you turn your nose and say, 'Ugh, where's the class?' or would you say thank you and then secretively purchase the suggestion?

That's kind of my dilemma. Do I smile and say, 'Thank you for the suggestion.' and go my merry way? Or do I smile and do as they request, which is to share their new story?

The Sight, authored by M.D. Christie

Ever since the night of her Parents Disappearance eight years ago; 17 year old Ella St. John has known she was different.

The CREATURE… did he take her parents that night, or was it a delusion?

FLASHBACKS… Keep her from living her life.

AUNT SAGE… Keeps secrets, does she know more than she lets on?

The sudden feeling of BEING WATCHED…. What does it all mean?

After 10 days off from my day job, I returned to work this week refreshed and rearing to go. Not 5 days later and I'm already dragging my feet, thankful I have next week off because I don't think I could last much longer. I have no idea what the deal is, but I seem to be turning into a vampire (or vampyre, whichever spelling you prefer).
